Keep the cashier that owns the code
Generate the QR on the starred host and leave that tab visible. Locking the phone or jumping to Facebook often kills the session that owns the code, which looks like an expiry even when the hop is still live.
If the QR died and wallet history shows no debit, generate a new code on the same open cashier. A new tab with a new 7bet spelling is a second merchant, not a refreshed code.
Two phones, one screen still open
Phone A holds 7bet. Phone B scans. Do not close or lock the 7bet phone to check Maya, because that is how the cashier session dies while the wallet app is still thinking.
